TTC Subway wall decals

I bought the most recent copy of Spacing (Fall 08 – Winter 09) down at a magazine shop on Broadway and Granville. [I was totally late for work and decided to duck out of the cold and peruse the racks till I saw a trolley pull up].

Under their Public Goods sections, they featured a few things perfect for the urbanist (the new code word for my species of geek, I guess).

A company called Walloper has re-created the TTC Subway signs as stick-on wall decals. The one featured in the mag is probably the best of the lot. It’s the Spadina Station signage from the Bloor Line section of the station. I love it because of the iconic streetcar and subway car depicted with the station name.

The online store at Walloper also has most of the other stations and you can choose different colours to your heart’s delight. I always wanted transit home decor 🙂
