Tuesday (not Monday) readings thanks to Thanksgiving

No Monday postings because of Thanksgiving in Canada.  So here’s the Tuesday line up.

There was some stirrings about the New York-New Jersey ARC (Access to Core Region) Tunnel project.  Transport Politic has all the details in two posts – the basics were laid out in September and the recent New Jersey governor’s move to pull the plug was just posted recently.  Yonah is always very detailed and has a lot of insight into the funding of transport projects, especially in the USA.

The Tyee finishes up the seven-part series on Seven Rules for Sustainability by Patrick Condon.

I think that’s about it.  I talked enough about the bicycle thing, but if you want to revisit that issue, then check out the most recent Friday Foto Feature.

By the way, TransLink will start their “Name the Smart Card” contest tomorrow.  I’ve already got a couple of names up my sleeves, but we’ll see how that goes.
