Tokyo’s Yurikamome line in motion

City side - take 2 by AppuruPai

Colossal Art & Design posted a neat selection of photos by one AppuruPai. These are photos taken aboard the Yurikamome Line in Tokyo.

I’ve had the pleasure of riding this rubber-tired form of rapid transit from the man-made island of Odaiba in Tokyo Bay to Shimbashi, one of Tokyo’s many machi. You can read about my experience with it under a previous post.  It’s great to see these photos. Mind you, the trains don’t move as fast as the photos suggest.

(the colossal article incorrectly states that the Yurikamome line travels between the Japanese cities of Shimbashi and Toyosu. Shimbashi and Toyosu are actually places within the city of Tokyo)
