Photographing False Creek at Dusk

It’s been over two and half years since the Winter Olympics and Paralympics took their show out of town.  The legacy of the Olympic Village, now renamed the Village at False Creek is still up in the air.  However, the Village has started to have some life come to it.  A friend invited me down there to take some photos. I haven’t had the chance to do a lot of tripod photography, so I thought it’d be fun.

If you are visiting Vancouver, it’s a neat little corner of False Creek to visit.  A lot of tourists will visit Science World.  The Village is just a quick walk from Science World.  Now that Tap & Barrel has opened on the western end of the Creekside Community Centre, life has really started to take off in the Village.  It is even better now that both London Drugs and Urban Fare have finally open their doors.
